I’ve been digging for a while for a simle way to get a print ordering system integrated with WordPress and struck today on FotoMoto. A quick plugin to WordPress, which powers the site, and we’re up and running.

Visitors can now order prints and cards from the galleries, and send free ecards to their friends with my images.

Back to Good

So, I’m now US based, and getting things back together. I’ve given the site a bit of an overhaul lookswise with a new template and some structural changes and content is coming but for now I’ve left the old stuff in place – whether it survives or gets culled is a decision I have yet to make.

There’s still a lot going on to get things going but hopefully some more changes will be coming in the next few days. Right now my core image library is still in storage so I’m a little hampered but there are new images just waiting to upload and share.

Well, it’s been a while since I last posted here and it’s been an interesting couple of months for me. Some people may know this but I’m in the process of gaining a visa for the United States to marry my fiancee and we’ve been running through the paperwork to get things in motion for a couple of months now. While that’s in train, I’ve not been shooting as much so updates and new images have been sparse, hopefully we’ll start seeing some changes soon!

Wasing Park

Shoot yesterday down at Wasing Park just outside Reading, admirably organised by David Slater. The sun was shining, the sky was blue and we had models in abundance. Everyone was in the mood to shoot and work and as ever the group’s results are proving to be worth it.

First pass through my shots yielded some that I’m very pleased with. Not completely finished picking my chooses yet but initial indications are good. Here’s a taster!

Catching up on Developing

I usually shoot some film alongside the digital when I’m out and about, although it can take a while before I get them in for developing! Just got a couple of rolls of Ilford FP4 back from the lab – dev and scan from Peak Imaging in Sheffield.

Compton Abbas Airfield

Today the weather was lovely so Mark and I took a spin up to the airfield at Compton Abbas to grab some lunch and some photos, as luck would have it the Yakovlevs were in the air although we apparently missed an imprmptu display earlier in the day.

Mixed copyrights on the images as, credit where credit’s due, many of my favourites from the day came from Mark’s end of the card.
